Please note: teraagro.md is not a classic online store. The site functions as a catalog with an advanced price-quote request form — submitting the form is not a binding order and does not create a payment obligation; the final price, availability and terms are confirmed separately, by phone or email, before any transaction is concluded.

2. What Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you provide it voluntarily, through:
- The contact form — name, email, phone, subject, message.
- The quote-request form (checkout step) — first/last name, phone, email, delivery address (locality, district, postal code); for legal entities, additionally — company name, fiscal code (IDNO), VAT code (TVA), IBAN.
- Product reviews (if enabled) — name, review text.
- Newsletter subscription (if enabled) — email address.
- Technical data, collected automatically — IP address, device/browser type, cookies strictly necessary for the site to function (see section 6).
We do not collect sensitive data (health, ethnic origin, religious beliefs, etc.) and never ask for such information.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing
- Processing a quote request/order and further communication — contact details, address, company data — legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request / performance of a contract, once confirmed.
- Issuing accounting documents for completed transactions — billing data — legal basis: legal obligation (tax and accounting legislation).
- Responding to messages sent via the contact form — contact details, message content — legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to inquiries received.
- Protecting the site against spam and abuse (Google reCAPTCHA) — technical data, browsing behaviour — legal basis: legitimate interest in security.
- Sending newsletters/commercial offers — email — legal basis: your explicit consent, revocable at any time.
- Publishing product reviews — name, review text — legal basis: your consent, given when submitting the review.
4. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with:
- Our web hosting provider (Hostinger) — for the site's technical operation.
- Google LLC (reCAPTCHA service) — to protect forms from automated spam. This may involve transferring data to servers outside Moldova (including the United States), under the safeguards Google applies. Details: policies.google.com/privacy.
- The farm's accounting service — for transactions requiring fiscal documents.
- Carriers/delivery partners, where applicable — only the minimum data needed for delivery.
We do not transfer data to other third parties for marketing purposes.
5. How Long We Keep Data
- Session data (cart, currency preference) — for the duration of the browsing session, up to 24 hours.
- Quote requests that did not result in a transaction — kept for a reasonable period needed to respond to you and for internal statistics, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
- Data related to completed transactions (invoices, accounting records) — for the period required by Moldovan tax and accounting legislation.
- Data submitted via the contact form — until your inquiry is resolved and a reasonable period afterwards, in case of follow-up.
- Newsletter consent — until you withdraw it.
6. Cookies
The site uses a minimal set of cookies, strictly necessary for its operation:
- Session cookie — identifies your browsing session (cart), deleted automatically.
- Currency cookie — remembers your selected currency for price display.
- Google reCAPTCHA cookies — set by Google when you fill in a form, to distinguish real users from bots.
A more detailed cookie policy, with category-based settings, will be published separately.
7. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS) across the entire site, protected session cookies (HttpOnly/Secure flags), restricted access to stored data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we make reasonable efforts to protect your information.
8. Your Rights
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), except where retention is required by law;
- restrict processing;
- object to processing, under certain conditions;
- data portability;
- withdraw any consent given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority — the National Center for Personal Data Protection (CNPDCP), datepersonale.md.

9. Minors
This site is addressed to individuals and legal entities wishing to purchase agricultural produce wholesale, and is not intended for minors. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18.

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect legislative changes or changes in how the site operates. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
